My mountaineering journey started before I knew about myself. I was a little kid when I started going to the mountains and exploring my fears, but also my strengths. I found many of them. I got scared of losing the trail and of being separated from my grandfather, but in those moments, I also felt the call of the unknown.

While engaged in mountaineering, I was lucky enough to meet people motivated to explore mountains that challenged each of us. No matter the cold weather or the wind, we were outdoors, reaching the summits. The scariest moment is just before you start — I always knew.

Mountaineering is a way of life. It represents a man climbing a mountain by himself, enjoying the absolute freedom to move, think, and explore.

The man starts where the freedom begins.
